It's easy these days to add a SSL to a site and incorporate secure payment gateways without any coding at all.

So don't let the coding stop you. I built a site in March and sold it this week and I can't code at all.

But do create a site with a clear and obvious path for how the site will make money; no one will buy it if it doesn't have that.
