Hey hang on for just a sweet-ass minute!

If it's unethical for Zulie to side-hustle in work hours, then by that logic, Eva, it's also unethical of you to "do what you want [on work time]: shower, work out, get my child from daycare, meditate...".

If ethics is so important consider this. Your employer is paying for your time. If your usual tasks are complete, shouldn't you be trying to find something productive to do for your employer?

Think of the value-add you could bring to the company if you spent the quiet times improving systems or nurturing client relationships or cleaning out old files or mentoring a junior, rather than showering or exercising.

If I was your employer I reckon I would feel pretty upset to read this article.

(BTW I am a side hustle super-fan; I'm not dissing side hustles. I just believe they should always be worked on after hours, no matter how quiet work gets)
