Feminist here: I loved the movie, laughing out loud and feeling happy about it for days afterwards. It managed to capture all the funnness of playing with barbie (which I didn't do as a kid, incidentally), while making sharply interesting observations about womanhood, feminism and the industry of toys.

It is intelligent, smart and funny and managed to portray every female in the movie that way too, while simultaneously reflecting back to us our often hypocritical world.

A movie so imaginative, sharp-eyed and funny with powerful female leads is a rare thing and something to be celebreated.

Go see it with your girlfriends. Wear pink, laugh, enjoy!
